The Jacaranda team works hard to ensure the quality and accuracy of our articles.
We’re excited to announce that our Founder and CEO, Daniel Wessels, has been featured in UQ Ventures, home to University of Queensland’s entrepreneurship support program.
The article focuses on Wessels’ inspiring entrepreneurship journey and how he has successfully navigated new market opportunities.
After seeing a gap in the existing loan market between big banks and payday lenders, Wessels saw an opportunity to offer loan products with a fair go lending approach.
Jacaranda Finance isn’t a big four bank only providing low-rate, long-term loans to borrowers with good credit. They’re also not a payday lender offering high-rate, very short-term loans to borrowers with poor credit. Instead, Jacaranda sits in the middle, providing a more attractive loan product that gives Aussies a chance to receive funds through a lender that’s faster, responsible, and more financially inclusive than the big banks.
Innovative use of financial technology is also what sets Jacaranda Finance apart from other lenders. Our in-house, self-developed underwriting platform enables us to serve more Aussies than ever before.
The article also explores Wessels’ plans to harness new and better tech to grow the Jacaranda Finance brand. With a focus on fintech, we’re able to emphasise user experience and stay on top of leading digital trends.
